In prior years (here and here and here), I’ve penned my thoughts on Thanksgiving.

At this Thanksgiving, I continue to have so much to be thankful for: A wonderful family, good health, a great job, terrific friends, loyal readers, a roof over my head and food for our table. There’s always something negative that you can focus on, but this is one of my favorite holidays because its very nature forces all of us to appreciate everything good that has occurred in life.

I won’t bore you with all the things I have to be grateful for — except one.

This fall I had the opportunity to go to a New York Yankees playoff game for the very first time. Ever since my grandparents took me to a game in the old stadium, I’ve thought how special it would be to go to a playoff game.

Fortunately, the experience lived up to the hype.  Childhood dream accomplished.

For companies, 2010 has continued to be a challenging year.  Long hours, layoffs, complicated laws.  But even so, my Thanksgiving wish to each of you is that you able to appreciate those moments of joy — whether fulfilling a dream or making a dream come true for someone else.

Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for your continued support of the blog.  I am most grateful.
