In a followup to a post of earlier this week, Windsor Locks and its Superintendent of Schools reached an agreement late yesterday in which the Superintendent agreed to resign in exchange for a six month severance payment (to be shorted if he finds work before the expiration of that severance period.)

The agreement comes

Over the last 24 hours, there’s been a lot of drama as details start getting released over the departure of the Connecticut DOT Commissioner last week.  Did he really resign? Was he pushed out?

Late yesterday, Governor Rell released a new statement that suggested that she sought the resignation after allegations of inappropriate behavior were raised. 

With my trial now over (and post-trial motions now beginning), it’s time finally to catch up on some of the posts I’ve flagged over the last few weeks, but haven’t had a chance to remark on.  Over the next week or two, I’ll be commenting on other developments. As you might expect after coming off
